This was a total "roll with the punches" night. We intended on going down to the South Station in Boston to see a miniature train display. Spencer was able to come home right after he got off at the hospital (not usual) and we headed out immediately. We got downtown (which really is only 6 miles from here...6 miles takes you about an hour in Boston especially at 5:00 at night) so we were there and....no parking. We drove around and around and around. There are tons of high rise apartments and the street parking in reserved for residents of the buildings because they have no where to park at all. Our friends were just ahead of us and told us that the display was less than spectacular so we improvised. We drove to one of our favorite pizza joints near Boston College and had some pizza. Then we drove to the nearest T stop (which is the subway...mostly not underground) and jumped on for a short ride to the next stop. We got off walked to a great little ice cream shop and had some hot chocolate and my new favorite ice cream, Oreo cake batter, and jumped back on the train to get to our car. So that was our TRAIN night. The boys actually had a blast and of course my camera died at the pizza place so this is the ONLY picture that I got from our fun filled evening!

My boys could eat pizza everyday for every meal. Our favorite is the Bacon and Cheese pizza with white sauce (Alfredo type sauce) YUMMY!
