Saturday Story

So the boys are in this really great boys book group. About 7 boys ranging ages 4-9, from our last ward, get together each month (we each take turns hosting a group) and talk about books. Each group usually consists of a little discussion, an activity, & treats. This months' book was No Talking by Andrew Clements, selected by my friend Ashley. We checked out the book on tape (because all of the actually books were out) and turns out it was such a fun thing for the boys, listening to the book on tape. They cuddled up with blankets, sat writing or scribbling in their journals and notebooks and just listened...quietly. It was great. We have found a new wonderful pastime. Oh, and I really enjoyed the book too.
