It's February break. School vacation for one whole week. Who really wants a break in New England in February...unless you can jet off to some place warm right?! Our post-graduate family had no such plans so we enjoyed our local surroundings. We finally got a good snow storm. I love a good snow storm. You know, the kind that turns everything white. I love just gazing out the window at a perfect, quiet, just lovely world. Pure beauty. Well the day following the storm was gorgeous, a fresh blanket of snow and almost 50 degrees. My friend suggested an outdoor-indoor day. We went to a local nature preserve and just hiked around in the snow. The boys were in absolute heaven. They ran through the snow, screaming with delight. After we returned
home we grilled hamburgers and ate indoors on a picnic blanket by a cozy fire. We roasted marshmallows and made the ultimate outdoor treat, indoors (s'more's of cours
