The big blood draw.

Lead testing is a state law in MA.  Lots of old houses, lots of lead paint.  It has to be done at some point in a child's life before he is admitted to the public school system.  Taede was not required to participate this time around, because he had the privilege of getting his blood drawn before he started kindergarten, a few years back.  So these three little amigos had to brave the phlebotomy lab.  They all did an awesome job.  No really.  It was impressive, if I do say so myself.  Even poor Talmage, who had to get stuck twice, was a trooper.

Very little tears were shed, and as evidenced by the pictures, they got over it quick.
