We took a quick trip up north last weekend to Priest Lake, ID. The boys loved playing in the water and cooking our tin foil dinners over the fire. What trip with our family would be complete without a little drama. On our way out of town we stopped by a fast food place to grab dinner and noticed that the back window of the motor home was shattered. Little tiny pieces of glass everywhere. Nice. Come to find out Tag thought it would be "fun" to throw rocks at the motor home. Good one buddy. After a quick stop at Home Depot we were cleaned up and had a partially functioning window until we could get it properly repaired. On Saturday we attempted to go huckleberry picking on our way over to Sandpoint...we ended up with ONE measly hand full. I guess this wasn't a banner year for picking. Oh well we'll try it again next year! We had dinner at our favorite little sub shops, Joe's, in Sandpoint- best philly cheese steaks (seriously as good at the "originals" we've tried) and the nicest people own the shop. We finished off the night with swimming, ice cream treats, and watching the Olympics (love the olympics). Spencer's work in Sandpoint has been such a fun blessing and beneficial thing for our family. I'm sure he loves us tagging along with him too.
