Five Boys & a Girl

So I have recently been encouraging my boys to clear their plates after every meal. We have been working on it for awhile and I am totally thinking that we have the swing of it. The other night, after dinner, the boys scrambled down from the table without touching their plates & the very short conversation which ensued with Taede went something like this:

Mom: "Taede will you PLEASE come in here and clear you plate."

Taede: "This is a restaurant, we don't clear our plates!"

So there you have it. He said it totally straight faced and innocently (he caught on really quick though when Spencer started laughing). You don't realize how spoiled your children are until they are old enough to say it how it is. Just a little bit of humor from our everyday lives.
