We had a great time celebrating Halloween at our house. It was more of an extended weekend of Halloween activities. We went to the ward Trunk-or-Treat on Friday evening. Loved that! We will have to be a little more festive next year and actually decorate our trunk. We'll see if that happens! We carved our pumpkins a few days before the trunk-or-treat with some friends from the first ward we were in. They are so fun! The family night before Halloween we decorated a haunted house (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Stucki!!) We had a fabulous time! Then it was on to the actual event.....the suspense was almost too much for the boys to handle! So Halloween day we had our traditional Halloween dinner. My Mother has done this for as long as I can remember. We have a menu with different "Halloween themed items" (i.e. pumpkin guts and bugs, Dracula's blood, mummy fingers.....you get the picture). It is by far the best part of Halloween for our family! (Thanks Mom!!) I had to carry on while in Boston and we had our friends over for a wonderful time! The Dad's took the kids trick-or treating and then we had dinner. It was a great time and we only wish we could have trick-or-treated across the country!!
