The garden.

We started a garden this spring.  We have high hopes and big plans for the garden.  This year, however, we might have to settle for less than spectacular.  We haven't finished installing our fence, therefore, things haven't been quite what they should be.  Between little fingers digging up the newly planted seeds, little critters eating newly budding plants, birds pecking at everything, little feet smashing to smithereens really beautifully growing plants, and a puppy...being a puppy, our garden is in survival mode.  Despite everything, I love being in the garden with my boys.  The process of gardening is the beauty of it, and my boys are beautiful (I mean manly looking).
