Truman's birthday!

Truman had a really great little birthday! Thank you so much to our families to spoiled him and took the time to call and send him a gift. He is a very lucky and loved little guy. Truman woke up this morning and as tradition holds, got to pick whatever he wanted for breakfast. A usual birthday breakfast would be waffles or bacon & eggs something warm and yummy, but Truman wanted cereal. Not just cereal, Cheerios's with chocolate syrup drizzled on them (believe it or not they learned that from their dad!). So we stuck candles in his birthday cereal. That morning we went to the library where Talmage and Truman participated in a "Music and Movement" class. Truman was a little bashful but there were moments of enjoyment (I hope!). Lunch was followed by a leisurely 3 1/2 hour nap and then he woke up to some outdoor playtime with his brothers. Then the best part of the day for Truman...Daddy came home! We had a picnic dinner at the park, even though it was a little chilly. Finally we came home and had Truman's Doggy cake (for those of you who can tell exactly WHAT that is!) and the opening of birthday presents. Of course no event is quite an event in the Stucki house without something dangerous, potentially hazardous, or just out of the ordinary happening (yes we have discussed fire safety) . The video says it all (sorry the it is dark most of the time...it's the audio portion that great anyway). Tru loved singing happy birthay and he walked around the house all day long singing "Happy Birthday to ME!". We sang happy birthday at least a dozen times and he loved every second of it. You can hear him say in the video "AGAIN!". Truman just loves being with his brothers, and they absolutely adore him! Truman had a great 2nd birthday!! We love Truman!
