Turn on the Town
The little town that we live in has a yearly event in which they light up main street and the town Christmas Tree. It wasn't quite as lively as I anticipated, but something to enjoy during the holiday season. Truman wasn't feeling well and Tag needed to go to bed so they stayed home with Dad, while I took just Tae and Tal with me. Our sweet nieghbors invited us
to walk to town center...just about a mile each way. Which was fine for everyone, except Talmage on the way back. Note to self: Talmage is only 4 and could probably use a stroller for such events. Taede wasn't overly impressed by the tree, thus his happy face in the picture. It wasn't too large for a town Christmas tree, I think it was the LED lights that just weren't very bright (not that we could complain any more about the tree, seriously!). The boys got to decorate and eat Christmas cupcakes and they were given free glow necklaces. We ended the night by snagging some pizza and a sandwich at the local pizza place and then walking home in the unseasonable warm nearly 60 degree weather, nice.
